trying to help a friend doing an install ,, He ordered a XP 9 HW Transducer and they sent him a XP 9HW T,, he has the 9M SIDBY splitter cable for this transducer and his side imaging transducer on the jack plate , I hope we can just leave it coiled up and not have to mount it , is there a setting where we can get the temp off the transducer on the jack plate ?
When that transducer is connected to a DI or SI unit via Y cable, the temp sensor will not be connected so it makes no difference where is it. Temp will come from the SI or DI transducer.
