Motor not used in 10 months

Due to health reasons and boat termites, 2019 Mercury 175 ProXS (2B638717) hasn’t been ran in 10 months. I expect to get it back in a week or two. Is there anything I should do before I start it since it has been sitting for so long? If it matters it has about 25 hours on it.

Good idea to have it serviced as it's due 1 year from the date it was originally placed in service (which would have been last July).

Oil, filter, gear lube, fuel filter, check mounting/jackplate/steering hardware, lubricate pivot points, etc.

I would also recommend removing the fuel (run it in your auto or truck) and start with a fresh load of fuel in the boat.

While it's in at the dealer, make sure they do Service Bulletin 2019-010 (which is still outstanding).
