Andy, sounds like a local version of the "airbourne angler", who flies over Saginaw bay, Mi area
    and gives ice reports.
    Keep up the good work.

Well thanks to All number one ! Got out on TC today lost a good one and got one 3 and a half pd. Tuff day but you guys have no idea how nice it was to get out. Water pretty dirty at ramp 53 degrees coves back towards dam 56 to 58 degrees cleaner. Cove back to left from ramp same 56 to 58 muddied. Very large baits balls with bass under but not interested. Went up hot just to bend to the right 64 . Fished North bank where hits and fish came from. Moving baits got attention but nothing to flashy. Hope this somehow can help. Guard said weds 21 fish total caught no keepers we left at 330 he said counting mine 7 fish no keepers so far. But man I enjoyed it !

Drove over this morning, 2 hr drive. Would not let us launch. Said it was too windy. Only one boat out and they were calling him back in. Guess should have called first. Told us that they were shutting the plant down tomorrow for 6 weeks. You may want to call and verify before going to see if that is true.

They'll close Turtle Creek anytime that winds are forecasted to be sustained about 20 mph. They'll also close the lake if they get any gusts that have a 2 minute average of 20 mph + (they have a weather station). They have a storm / tornado siren that is used to notify those who have already launched. That lake can get VERY rough on certain north or south winds.

The plant was running today. Not sure how long they are going to run.
