    Updates/enabling Active Target

    I know there’s already videos out there but I still see a lot of confusion and issues with updating our graphs… I also show you what you need to do in order to enable Active Target after doing the update… Let me know if I can help!

    Of course!...but honestly most people who ask or message me for help, that’s how they try it and they have nothing but problems...that’s why I just wanted to focus on the micro SD option in this video...I’ve seen so many people run into issues when using WiFi, for one reason or another...but absolutely, you can do it via WiFi!

    I’ve never had a single issue with WiFi before this update. Lowrance put the update on their downloads page before they officially announced it and made it available for WiFi.

    My live 12 lets me update WiFi my 9 live sucks never work I us SD on that

    I am having nothing but problems trying to download the update. Not available on Wi-Fi, and using a 16 GB SD card, I get a message that the update file is too large to the SD card...I'm ass whipped at this point

    I was able to download and install from a 32GB card. Might try that.

    Exactly, that’s why every time someone asks me for help with updating, that’s my first question...haha...I’ve seen so many problems with doing it over WiFi it’s not even funny!

    I agree with Dean, I’ve always used a 32gb and I’ve never had a single issue...make sure it’s completely empty like I show in the video as well, that’s another common mistake I see...let us know how ya make out!

    Good call on the empty card...I started with a fresh card out of the package. Other cards were not taking were not taking the download. Even cards I had erased.

    Yes sir, I bought a card that I use strictly for updating my graphs, never use it for anything else...you would think that as long as ya erase everything off it you would be good, but we all know how touchy these things can be!
