Choosing color scheme? Also post prettiest boats

You guys that were lucky enough to do a build, how in the heck did you decide with all the choices? If I were going to do it, I would probably copy the various gray themed ones I've been sing with no blue/green/red/yellow. I really have tired of the mostly white with accents colors that were so popular in the 80s/90s. Feel free to post what you think looks best these days.

I prefer a black and gray color scheme - but it's all just personal taste.

I also like the grey and blue boats.

Sorry I’m no good at posting pics. When the wife and I ordered the lynx it took four hrs to pic everything out. Couple things I’ve learned don’t put silver inside the boat it’s way to bright on your eyes in the sun. BCB has the build a boat on their site for a start but the colors aren’t exactly true to the real color. If you have a cat dealer close go look at their color chips and find the two or three colors you like. Then match the Vinyl colors that match the colors you picked. I spent hours online building the rig before we sat down to order it. Silver on the outside shows very little dirt

My first Cat had black consoles and black gel on the topcap. Wouldn't do that again, even when I lived in Ohio you could bake a cake in the glove box of the black console in the summer. When I would wipe down the black gel after pulling out it would steam. I did a bunch of builds on the website on my own when preparing to order my current boat and essentially recreated one of those when I was at the dealer. Below is my current Caracal. If I had to do it over, I would get the darker gray on the top instead of the lighter gray.

what color black and grey is that?

Following with interest. I have been looking at some combo of gun metal and or charcoal mist for hull top with silver pins and blue or red bolt.

The boat builder is OK but when I saw some colors on the BC boat by SN page they look a little different, sometimes the same color looks different on different boats. Lighting has a lot to do with it. The gun metal looks more silver and the charcoal mist looks darker in some pics almost black.

I lean to the blues and grays myself. My last boat was a dark blue with Remington Pins. This one is Remington with sliver pins.
The boat builder program only does so much. If you have a dealer close, go talk to them and look at the gel samples.

I honestly don't know. I am the second owner, so I didn't design it. However, it's almost 100% the way I would have designed it. You can't see in the picture, but the bottom is also a grayish/silverish/sparkly color.

I still love the old school white with accents. They will comeback before it is time for me to sell. I did boat builder and the color chips at the dealership. Good luck

Just my 2 cents. Stay away from Malibu or black colors for the fenders. Scratches show up easier and you’ll be stepping on them a lot.

I concur. The main color on my boat and fenders is Malibu red. Shows every imperfection.

One of the prettiest I have seen is Ivan's Caracal. The guy who ordered a Caracal recently posted pics. White with blue Stripes and black bottom.
