Smartcraft gauge connection...where do i connect?

I have a 2019 mercury 200 4 stroke on a suntracker tritoon boat. I bought an older mercury smartcraft Gauge (10 pin). How do i connect it to the harness? Standard gauges are in place now. This will replace the rpm/trim gauge (speed and fuel gauge on the other side). I see a large plastic box coming in from the harness...do i need a cable/adapter to make this tach work? Thanks!

You cannot just "connect it to the harness". Smartcraft Instruments require a Smartcraft NETWORK, which you may or may not have (or you may have part of it).

Moving your thread to the 4-stroke Forum for you.

Suggest getting a couple pictures under your console of your wiring (keyswitch harness primarily).

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!
