    Lake Chicumunga Lodging

A group of six are planning a trip to Chicumunga the middle of May. We have never been there before and looking for information on good place to stay. Would like to find something in a safe location close to launch area or lake front. Probably looking at Dayton area with room to park three boats and trailers. Open to suggestions.

Sleep Inn. Just a couple miles to Richland creek launch. Has power on the parking lot. Popular for tournaments, not aware of many cabins/ houses in the area.

Bluewater in Dayton. Stayed there a few times. Love it. Get a couple of Lodge rooms. Plenty of parking for your boat and you can easily plug them in to charge.

Holiday Inn express in Dayton has power in the parking lot and pretty decent lighting. Several BASS pros stayed there during the last BASS Elite event there in the fall.

I did a FOM Nationals with a group of 4 in these cabins. They are just a 10-20 minute drive to the Dayton boatdocks. They are very nice and you can park 3 boats easy if you are careful. we brought long power cords and it was not a problem. Its at the top of a hill/bluff so you have beautiful views. If you did around, there is even a larger house you can rent. https://www.fortbluff.com/lake-haven-cabins.html

Those are the nicest "lake front" fishing cabins I've ever stayed in.

Bluewater also has a house they rent at least they did last time I was there. Those cabins are hard to beat and that big parking lot makes it easy to back your boat up to the front of your cabin

Drove by it last week, looks like it still has a month or so, left of work on it.
