    Out of State Champ.

I looking at buying a boat registered in Oklahoma and bringing it to Texas. I know the title for the boat and motor will transfer but Oklahoma does not register trailer like Texas does, will this pose any issues or is there just paper work to fill out to get it registered.

Does the trailer have a manufacturing plate on it?

I have heard of trailers being registered as “home made” in Texas if there isn’t a title or manuf. plate. Bill of Sale with trailer manufacturer/SN/etc.. may also get you there for the DMV to create a title for you...

May also depend on if the trailer has ever been registered before...

Under 5,000 lb trailers are registered not titled. You bring your bill of sale, pay your tax and get your plate. Boat/motor are parks and wildlife trailer is county.

    Oh sheeesh....stars in the sky.
Just a short list of latest brain cramps.
    Chain saw blades are directional....
Don't try to read a Yamaha four stroke wiring diagram if you're working on a two stroke. Who knew?
If you pull apart your outboard jet and don't replace the thin little plastic sleeve, it won't work either...
Water really does go downhill. Amazing.
If you find yourself stuck on a sandbar, do NOT think your $400 stiffy push pole can wedge it out.
When you cut a electric wire with a sawsall, it can short out your tool?
If you're going to shuck a 100 lb sack of oysters, don't be a tard, wear gloves.

And on and on and on...
