    Another 2.280 on a helix 12 si gn2 question

    So i have been following all the posts. I had to send my unit in for motherboard repair ( Helix 12 SI gps gn2 ) and the unit works now. But i just can't seem to get the side imaging and 2d to show as good as when i bought it and before the 2.280 update. So i think i understand that once you go to the 2.280 you can't go back to the original or earlier version . Is that correct? and why can't you?

    Hey Keith! U can. I had someone on the forum that had an earlier version saved on their computer send it to me and I reverted back.

    Thanks Nick. I emailed Humminbird and asked if they could send me a previous version. It usually takes a couple days for them to respond. If anyone has a previous version for the Helix 12 SI GPS gn2 I would love to have a copy. PM me if you are interested in sharing . Thanks a lot
