Having used both units and still have both, in my opinion, Garmin has a better/cleaner 2D. You also have more setting adjustments with Garmin. Also this is using original transducers, not a 3rd party transducer.

Thank you. I have a bird up front for mapping and the lowrance for 2D and down imaging. Just got the livescope mounted minus the transducer.

I'm assuming that the GT54 is what you have for the UHD? If you do wouldn't hurt for you to temporarily strap to troller and give it a shot to compare with the Lowrance .

Well I dont wanna start a new thread and I'm positive fishin is tired of me pm ing him lol I have a active captain question. Is the active captain actually "needed"? Whats the benefits of the app as opposed to the website? I'm very technologically DECLINED so less is better for me.
