    Lower Savannah River fishing

Savannah River has been up and down the past 6 months and is back at flood stage. Water is cold and muddy with a very high flow due to the flooding. Bass fishing is tough once again with best bites being all the way down in tidewater, below Purrysburg. I will try to give regular updates again as I get to fish. Just a few weeks ago 15-20lb 5 fish limits were being caught before it flooded back out.

Thanks for the update. I'll be moving to the Savannah area later this year. I'll keep an eye out for your reports.

You're welcome. Haven't been on here enough lately. You will find a big difference in fishing the fast flowing, tidal river from the lakes and Tenn River. Let me know when you are coming down.

Will do. Even with the river system I'm on the 24 volt trolling motor barely keeps up. Guess I'll definitely need to look for a 36 volt soon.
