21 TRX with 52” Troller

Just curious how many guys with a 21 TRX or other 21 foot Triton are using a 52” trolling motor. Especially those who use a leveling wedge underneath the trolling motor. I had 45” Ultrex with leveling wedge on my 20TRX and it always seemed to blow out of the water whenever it got choppy out. My new 21TRX came with a 45” and I’m going to swap it out for a Ghost, just skeptical if the 47” would be enough.

I run a 20 TRX with a leveling wedge and use a 52 inch shaft Ultrex. Works great for Sturgeon Bay or the Mississippi when raised. I am sure that a longer shaft (if it is longer) on the Ghost would work fine.
