Question about the "hooked hull" issues

had a 2010 Z7 with zero issues.
I will be back in the market for another rig very soon.

All the hooked hull talk, does it seem to be a specific year/model range? Any reasons why?

Every one I am seeing seems to be maybe a 2010?? - 20?? Z7?

Any issues with any later model Nitros? z18? ect?

Anyone know about a 2008? I keep meaning to jump under mine and check it but always forget to lol. I see 55 mph at 5600 RPM with a 150 opti. It is nowhere close to setup the way I want it and motor is way too low but lift is good, hole shot is good, and so I just assume my hull is pretty good still.

If your hull was hooked, I highly doubt you would see 55 with a 150. I'm sure you are fine.

Warped hull would be a more accurate phrase but hooked is the accepted moniker. In the below picture they use a board but a level is more appropriate. It demonstrates the point.

I had an older 896 that was hooked and porpoised at any speed <35ish. The second owner had it fixed and it was a whole different boat. The second 896 I owned had no issues and was great hull.
