    Oil reservoir bleed

I removed the oil reservoir tank from my 2015 250 proxs. Reattached and filled with new DFI. What do I need to do to bleed the line before restarting my motor?

I've searched the forums and can't find exact instructions for this.

Take to dealer for an oil pump prime sequence.

WHICH oil reservoir did you remove (ENGINE mounted, or the REMOTE tank)?

Remote tank, you don’t not need to bleed the lines just fill it up and replace cap and ensure it’s tight.

Recommended to only fill it to 80%. The engine mounted tank may need to be bled since the air in the line from the remote tank has to go somewhere...

Correct. And there are directions in the FAQ Section for "Bleeding Air from the Engine-Mounted Oil Tank".

    I should have asked.

Reservoir, as stated in original post, is on engine and what I "assumed" was replaced.

Remote tank, as stated above, doesn't require an oil pump prime sequence.

I apologize for incorrect verbage used. Thanks for all the help. Glad to know that I don't have to take it to the dealer or bleed lines. Thanks again.

In your defense,it did sound like the OP meant the engine tank. All’s well that ends well.
