sea foam in 1997 Johnson venom

I've got a 97 Johnson venom, model # J200STLEUB. I took it out on the lake today and when I tried to get up on plane it would bog down, I'm going to put a gallon of gas with a can of sea foam and run through it. I'm a green horn so any advice would be much appreciated.

I habe not been on this site since three or 4 years ago sold my old boat pop in this morning looking for few answers on a johnson 200 venom and see same guys same crap. Be patient championman is good info guy heloed on my last johnson
Seafoam will not fix your bog in most cases. It works well on 4 stroke car engines to clean out deposits but on a stroke ehh can run some in fuel and see if helps maybe carbs are gummed up if has not run for while between outings. Good luck
