There are a hand full of other steps out there.....Most are around the same pricing, give or take ......they also mount in different places.....do a Google search and you will see some.

I installed the Boat EFX steps after seeing the Trick Step. I think the Boat EFX steps are far superior.

I bought a Trick Step, and all these steps are IMO are way over priced, BUT the Trick Step is a fine quality product, and made very well IMO. The only thing I would suggest to Trick Step is I think the steps need to be a bit larger in size.

I wish I could find a setup that goes from tongue to over winch. Do NOT want side mount types that limit turning angle. I could just see crunching the corner of my truck with those.

Of course it depends on how much room you have but here are some that are made for front of winch.

I went with the bow step and it’s worked well for me so far.
The biggest advantages is the ability to turn the steps to best match how you want to get into the boat. Then there’s the fold up and out of the way when you don’t need to use it.
The disadvantage, I wish the steps were a little wider and the step footprint larger. Otherwise I’m happy and it was reasonably priced.

Jack, I agree with your comments, except the size of the steps. I actually like the size as they are not big and bulky.
    Cheers,

I have the Trick Steps and love them. They are all pricey, but to me worth every penny. Lots of good options out there to.

Way too expensive for some square tube and flat steel.

    DTS two step looks promising.
