I'm building one of these for a customer. I really like it, I might have to order one for myself. Feels a touch more powerful than the St Croix 5S610MLXF that is my go-to DS blank.

That's why I like it. To me the MLXF wasn't enough and the MXF was too much. I can fish a 1/2oz DS weight and it handles it fine.

I haven't really shopped around for them much but I get them from Get Bit. Just looking around now they're all about the same retail.

I’ve noticed the same thing. Wasn’t sure if certain retailers had typical sales happen throughout the year.

Get Bit will run a 15%off sale pretty often. You might see 20% for black Friday/Thanksgiving sales but don't see 20% very often.
