    02 TR19 and a Garmin Force

Has anyone installed the Garmin Force on a 2002 TR19? Reason I am asking is that front bow panel trim/shroud was always being hit by the arm of another trolling motor when at rest, I am replacing the bow panel and shroud, do not want it to happen again. Can the trolling motor be shimmed up of the bow deck? Or how did or would you fix the problem as there is a limited amount of space up there, as you can see in the picture.

I had to shim my motor guide tour when I installed the lift assist. I used a piece of HDPE (High Density Poly ethylene). Worked excellent. I know it’s not the same trolling motor, but same issue. Hope this helps.

I just installed a new Ghost on my TR20. I bought the leveling shim From Ashmore marine products. They are not cheap but they space it up and level it.
