I'm upgrading my trolling motor and will be mounting it to a MKA-47 sliding plate that allows the trolling motor to be pulled forward and back for load/offload purposes. It'll end up that the front bow light mount sits about 1 3/8 inches above the fiberglass and be in the way of the plate. I'd like to put the trolling motor mount on rubber spacers to be above the light mount. Anyone see any issues with doing so? I'd be using 1.5 inch rubber spacers like shown in the phot. I figure I'll just need to buy longer bolts.
