Lodging for Lake Cumberland

Hey everyone. I'm looking at coming to Lake Cumberland the last week of March for an Air National Guard military tournament. We normally stay for a week to practice before the tournament. I'm looking for a decent place to stay. The info I've found is the OYO Inn, the Anchor Inn, Springs motel and Timber Pointe. Does anyone have any other places or have stayed at one of these places and can comment on how they are as far as boat parking, decent accomadations, etc. Always hard going to a place you've never been to and finding the best p]lace to stay. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I’ve stayed at Timber Point several times. It is a nice place and never had any problems.

often times you can rent from a private individual for the same price as a hotel/motel but have 10X the privacy and a lot better accommodations.

Kinda depends, Cumberland is 100 miles long. What ramp tourney out of?

Sorry, I should have mentioned the ramp. It's Halcombs Landing. It's close to Jamestown.

Bad sketch! Timber Pointe is very nice and owners are great. Like some have stated there are starting to be more VRBO and Air BnB available in the area. I know a lady I work with has VRBO up in Russell Springs right off 127 that is very nice and is about a 10 minute drive to Halcombs.
