The boat is in an odd slot......for the same money you can buy a legit used jonboat or v-hull that'll be more practical.

And as just a kayak it would be no fun to paddle.

I just saw these in the new BPS catalog. Might have to add one to the list. Looks like a fun boat to use on the "in town" lakes.

If folks want to compete in a kayak or bass boat fishing tournament, having a jon boat would be the thing in an odd slot.

wouldn't you have to register and title this as a boat since it has a trolling motor on it?

Just ran into one of these yesterday at a Tractor Supply store, seems like a legit machine with some decent features. Almost pulled the trigger since I had a 10% coupon but figured I'd do some research first. Would work great for where I'd be using it just a tad more than I wanted to spend at this time. Thanks for sharing the videos, I'll be checking them out.

    Interesting yak.

Small though. If you're a full sized man this looks sketchy. Might be a good option for some though.

it would be considered a kayak in a tournament if it has a motor?
and you would compete with bass boats in that tournament with this thing??

Of course. Most major and minor kayak tournament series allow motors- exception being the Hobie series, simply because they think their mirage drive s as good as a motor. And kayak tournament use catch photo and release- they don't do actual weigh-ins. That would be wholly impractical.

Very decent review, thx for sharing. I'm wondering are the any special storage conditions for this model(got this rack)? And it seems to be small for tall man
