Anyone have any tips when mounting power poles on a newer (2021) Z18? I have a 8” slide master jack plate coming in Saturday and will be ordering the power poles and mounts soon. Thanks!!

Make sure you buy correct brackets. I don't remember it being difficult.

Not any issues at all, just order the right adapter plate.

Gonna have issues with hole shot and top end speed with the 150.
The Interactive bracket selector on the PP website works great and then you can look at the install PDF for the proper brackets.

Not hard at all. If your just mildly mechanical it will be a walk in the park.

Nitro didnt recommend installing poles on the 150 nor did the dealer. Thats why i ordred with 175 and 6" manual jackplate.
would be the S-2-6 brackets bolted right to the side of the jackplate and if you are going 10 foot you with require PKB-S-2-6.. adds the brace (b)
zero issues with poles with a 150.. sounds like a excuse to upsell to the 175 IMO.. not that having the biggest outboard possible is a bad thing.
a nitro w a 150 w have zero issues with holeshot and a top speed loss of about 1.5 mph w any model Power Pole. Talons would be a different story with a 150 at twice the weight.
