    EVINRUDE 150 HO E-TEC Engine

I'm thinking about buying a boat that has a 09 E HO E-TEC with 409 hours on it, are these motors any good? I've heard mixed reviews.

    The 2.6L V6 E-tec is a fantastic engine.

I've had that exact motor on my Stratos 486 SF for 3 years now (bought the boat used) and 0 issues so far. Runs fantastic!

I've had mine since the day it was new. The only issue I had was I lost 1 injector. Other than that it has been great. Sips gas and oil and moves my wide-body Champion good.

Same here, bought one new in 2017, lost 1 injector, they fixed it under warranty.

I went from a 200 HP FICHT motor to the 150HO...no regrets
