    Side Scanning Banks

    Guys,

    Looking to buy a Helix 7 SI. Lakes in my area are not very wide. If I am running 20 feet from the bank will side image sill work?

    The SI Range is adjustable, of course it will still work.

    Yes but Si on a 7" screen is kinda hard to see. You can turn on only left or right Si goin down a bank so you get more screen space, and targets are larger.

    I have a helix 7 msi g3 at the back of my boat and get some really clear images scanning 60 feet left and right with the chart speed at 4mph.
