I’d probably look at the Carlisle Radial Trail HD or Maxxis 8008. Pay attention to weight ratings.

That’s fine, but Goodyear doesn’t make 13” trailer tires.

I have heard good things about Hercules from people who run commercial trailers, they make tires in the US but these are made in Thailand. I am on the fence if I want to go with the Hercules or the Goodyear, but it is something to look at.

I have Hercules STS on my boat since 7/2104. Happy with them. This thread made me look in my files, thought it was way less time...this will be a purchase shortly. 5-6 years is pushing it. MY BAD

+1 on the Maxxis 8008. I just put a new set (175/80r13) on my trailer and I'm very impressed so far. I was able to find them online at under $60 bucks each.

I have traveled from Arizona to Mississippi 5 times using the 13 inch Carlisle Radial Trail HD "D" rated on my boat trailer and I have not had any issues. Most of the travel is when the temperature is high.

I bought some Kenda Loadstars radial in Load D in the 13” size, been great so far. It was either those or the Carlisle Radial HD, but I bought the Kendas on mounted and balanced on galvanized wheels for about $110 each shipped to my house. The Hercules and Maxxis 13” tires are load C only, on my heavy boat I wanted to move up to load D for more air pressure and load rating, with 8 ply instead of 6 ply.

My local dealer recommended a Duro, Goodyear didn't make my 13" size I changed the tires on my RT188 at the two year point. He had me feel the weight on the Duro compared to the Carlisle I pulled off. The Euro sidewalls were hefty in comparison. The Carlisle I pulled off looked fine, but I was getting to make a 2000 mile pull. I've made that pull twice on the Duro tires. A little over 100.00 for two mounted and balanced.
