Anyone repaired their cracked plastic consoles? The one on my pt 165 is cracked all to hell and back and I do not beat on the boat. Thought about making a fiberglass one and using the existing as the mold for it unless someone knows how to fix it

Could you melt it back together and reinforce the cracks from behind by melting in metal? Then maybe Bondo it some, sand it and cover the whole thing with a vinyl wrap?

As a welder you would think I would have thought about trying to plastic weld it. Guess comparing steel and plastic it never really crossed my mind
