Sorting out interference issues with Evinrude & Garmin 95sv and was wondering if anyone knows if this 2018 Evinrude 30 e-tek is actually grounded to the boat's transom. ie: is the negative side of the battery supply cable grounded to the engine frame? Motor is bolted to transom, has tilt and electric start.

unhook battery and test for continuity from negative cable to the hull of the boat? motor is grounded so pretty sure the hull would also be grounded on a tin boat?

It's grounded by thin bonding wires. Good habit to fit 50amps wire from battery negative to good boat ground. Will save bonding wires from burning off due to overload if main negative wire works loose.
