got a 18 zx200 with group 27 batteries. will i have a issue getting a group 31 battery to fit in the same area.

NOPE will fit , only problem getting it in that spot they are heavy
Take the plates off the back and loosen the charger, it should make it alot easier to get the
batteries in. Good luck!

Honestly, depending on how much you're on your trolling motor, I stepped down to 50's LiPo from 27 series and fish usually 3 times between charges. 48lbs down from around 220 lbs. 36 volt system.

But it can be done. If you're running a 4 - battery system, better do some checking. Make some cardboard templates and try.
i'm running a 24v trolling motor so it shouldnt be an issue. trying to decide on 50 or 100 ah trolling motor battery size. dealer says if i dont fish river systems the 50 would probably work. but dont want to have to charge everytime after fishing because i'm sure the 125 will not need it.
I replaced the starting battery with a group 31 no problem. Not sure you would need two group 31 trolling motor batteries. Two 29 series should work all day on that boat.
