    Merc Shifter locked in reverse?

    2000 Merc 200hp, I put in reverse & can't get it out? It has hotfoot, but it won't budge out of reverse.
    Shifting box or cable?

    could be either or gearcase too disconnect at mtr, please use next section down with ser number to help us out
