It was sort of like Humpty Dumpty. The trailer replacement and motor repairs would be at least $10K. On the motor, the lower unit, swivel bracket and steering at least was toast. The boat was hit so hard on the port side that it pushed in the hull and popped all of the screws loose that hold the top cap to the hull, and the hull was cracked from the hit 2/3 full length. The top cap was splintered for about 6 feet on the port side. The bottom was worn through to the balsa fillers in numerous places and the list goes on and on.
Yes it was sickening.
