    Just finished a Rod

Got into Rod Building in June.
This is my 10th rod, feel like I am starting to get the hang of it... Still a lot to learn.

10th rod and you’re doing that type of thread work is very impressive. I started this year as well, built 5 rods and I’m still just trying to get single inlays looking good enough for me to be happy with them.

Gotta agree, 10 rods and that kind of thread work is impressive. Very nice. Get the finish on your guide wraps flatter and you'll be there. Otherwise, very clean work. And marbling is a lot of fun isn't it?

Your finish looks really good. That's what most new builders (and some old builders) struggle with.
