    Just had to do this yesterday. Have to jack the trailer high enough where the shackles are even and I actually did the flat end slightly higher. Then strap the axle up to the frame with a tow rope or we used ratchet straps. Then lower it. This allowed for the front tire to have plenty of clearance.

    What strap are u carrying and where did u get it

    I just have some ratchet straps I always carry in my truck. Wrapped one on each side of the axel as much as I could to make it as strong as possible. To my surprise it held up fine.
