Going to try and go to dale hollow. In the next few weeks. Haven't been there in years. Trying to figure out the best place to stay. And the best part of the lake to fish this time of year. Found some cabins way up the lake. Just didn't know if its worth fishing up there right now. Any help would be great thanks.

I'll second Nathan at Star Point. Good folks! Star Point puts you mid-lake with quick access to the Obey, Wolf, Illwill, Ashburn, and general mid-lake area. I can't say I know the best areas to fish winter. Hope you have a productive trip.
Thank yall for the info. I'll checkout star point. It's been 15 years or more since I been there. So I didn't have a clue where to stay.
Ky state park lodge is another good option. Good restaurant on site. Right on mid lake.
Ive always stayed at Horse Creek and fished the lower end of the lake up to around Galton Hollow and Holly creek.
