I use about a quart at a time so I don’t have to worry about wasting any or it drying up.

Well... I got the Toon Brite today. Crystal clear. Dipped some cranks and jigheads. Didn't ruin my paint jobs.

***DRIED to touch in 15 min*** , I dipped 4 coats in 1.5 hrs just to see if it would bubble or show problems. None!

This is not a moisture cure urethane....

It is a waterproof acrylic... I talked to and texted the owner of the company a lot today. He's excited and waiting to hear the findings of my tests.

I will do a durablity and water test soon... Looks promising.

Wash's off hands with soap and water.

I want to put some baits in with some soft plastics and see if there is any reaction...

Lee the owner says he has had a gallon in his garage that he has used for small touch ups every year, for over 3 years and it's still as good as new,,, It seems to have a long shelf life.

    Durability falls short.

    What does this mean,

I have been using Diamond for a long time. Yes the shelf life is shorter, I would love another option

Even after 3 days of drying, I can scratch the clear and paint off of a jig head and crankbait with my finger nail... It's OK, But not as hard and glossy as KBS. The crankbaits look great... I just wish it was a harder finish. I love the ease and dry times, as well as shelf life.

Permagloss rod finish is also moisture curing, it eats some paints and other have to be well cured or it will eat them too.

Hard to dip a bait in a 4oz bottle. The cost is prohibitive.

I brush the KBS on and have zero issues with bubbles or anything else. Still using the first pint I bought 2 years ago. It is still good as new, except mostly empty now.

Humidity, seal on lid, and lots of openings have a huge effect on shelf life on KBS. I have used many gallons of this over the years.

    ***UPDATE***

This product is working better than I first thought. It gets more durable as time goes on just like KBS Diamond Clear.... I'm still making lots of baits with it and will give a full report after I fish with them...

Toon Brite owner "Lee" has told me they might offer another harder product in the near future. I'll get some of this when it becomes available.

I wish more people would try it on their baits to give a wider experience on other paints etc... It's cheap enough for anyone to try. It's crystal clear...
