    Orange Lake

    Any reports on Orange Lake. From Ocala area and plan on fishing Orange lake new years day

    Did you fish Orange Lake already? I know it's after New Year's Day but there's a guy named Chuck Decker that consistently pulls trophy bass out of that lake. For 2019 he had over 50 entries for FWC Trophy Catch, most over 10 lbs and most caught in Orange Lake.

    Have not fished it yet. Are there any hazards to worry about on orange

    Following. I’d like to fish it sometime this year. Been fishing closer water but want to start expanding the radius.

    I’m mostly interested in navigational hazards, too

    Nothing really to worry about on that lake. Outside of typical shallowing as you get closer to the bank. Biggest issue is the grass and overhearing your engine on the east side. I have not been in a few months so cant speak to grass situation.
