Aimpoint 9000L opinions
Merry Christams everyone. I'm considering trying an Aimpoint 9000L for deer hunting. I'm up here in Maine and hunt mostly wooded areas. Never shot a deer beyond 100 yds and most of the time it's less than 40. Hoping some on here have real world experience and could share their experience with me. Pros and cons.

They are nice and rugged and will work better than peep sights in low light as long as you do not mind the weight and bulk. I primarily use red dots or holographic sights for shooting rifles quickly shooting targets for sport.
I just took a rifle to the range that has a leupold scope with the firefly feature. Basically a red dot hat can be turned on where the crosshairs converge. I really like it the way that works.

Thanks Transom. I just checked those out. I've been using Leupold for years. I have 3 x 9 on it now. I do see I'd have to change the rings though to 30mm.
