LTC Texas vs Alabama

I’ll be posting this in the Alabama forum as well.

I moved from Texas to Alabama. My LTC (formerly CCW) is expiring in Texas at the end of January.

Can anyone weigh in on the advantages or disadvantages of renewing my Texas LLC vs getting a new one from Alabama? I know they are reciprocated between states. Just trying to do the right thing.

Any thoughts?

I would think that if you are a permanent resident of Alabama, you would need to get your LTC there, just like your drivers license.
