I wouldn't go the outfitter route. Just find a area in WY with good BLM access. And do it yourself. I have killed alot of them. Generally If I wanted to bowhunt them I would come out for a week. Hunt them with a bow for 3-4 days then when rifl opens if you haven't gotten it done. Plug one and head home.

Public access, good optics, flat shooting rifle. That combo has put 8 Wyoming speed goats in the freezer for me.
If you guided in Colorado, you should be ahead of the curve on spot and stalk.

243 oughta work a speed goat over pretty well. I have never hunted them, but know some that have. They all use 243.
And dont buy into you have to have a 500 yard gun. The longest shot I have ever taken was 150 yards the shortest was 25 feet.

thanks guys for the info, just a goal in life to harvest one been searching BLM ground to hunt
That concept has always made me scratch my head too. I guess if you want to reach out and touch something you should take a sniper rifle but some people hunt them with a bow for Pete's sake. It's like saying you need a 500 yd gun for whitetails when most are taken inside of 50 yd
Longest shot 350 yards, closest 75 yards. If you just want a goat and don’t care about horns, shouldn’t have to shoot over 150 yards. If you want a good one, you might have to work a little and be prepared for longer shots. They don’t get big by being easy to shoot.

So,get some! They're small, so... see if you can get two, if that's available.
