    My calipers suck

Trying to restore the brakes on my Loadrite trailer. The left caliper bleeder rounded off. The right caliper pads were stuck on, I pushed them back in and the bleeder snapped off.
Now I know a Kip Sephia pads fit the calipers (i think) and I'm not intending to spend a couple hundred on new calipers.
Does anyone know if any automotive calipers fit my trailer?
They are dual bleeder calipers either side,

Bill, there are two different models of UFP calipers. You’ll need to know which yours are. http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread....=1#post6638430

Of course they could be Tiedown too.

If the Kia Sephia pads fit, they are probably UFP DB35.

Try Eastern Marine and Trailer. They have UFP parts and are located in Delaware. I use them a lot with no issues.

Yeah I saw those on line they were the cheapest so far. Thanks. I may try to drill out the bleeders and if successful, buy the rebuild kits or at least the bleeders and polish the old bores and reinstall the original seals. I've had success with cars if the issue was just corrosion build up.

Eastern was kinda high priced but they are in Delaware (too).

Since you mechanically inclined. I believe they make a rebuild kit. If your going to pull the piston. Might as well replace the seals while your there. I’ve gotten to the point in life we’re I just buy new Calipers and be done with it.
