    Taking boat off trailer in garage

    Any suggestions its a ZX190 Skeeter I have to repair some gel coat chips in haul and don't know what may be under the bunks

    There is other ways to do it but if you buy 2 Brownwell boat stands for the rear and a Brownwell keel stand....that’ll do the job “safely” but a little pricey. We use there products in my shop.

    Even with my overhead lift I do not get under a boat unless it is on fixed stands.

    I have used a combination of floor jack and jack stands with large dimensional lumber to hold up my river boat for a wetlander application on the hull. I also used jack stands and lumber to hold the transom as I used the floor jack on the keel area, then rolled the trailer forward on the X19 for pad work. You can do it with four jack stands and some maneuvering.

    Thanks guys for input supporting stern on the jack plate was my plan
