How long do your batteries last in the talon remotes? It seems like we have been swapping out new batteries pretty frequently this past year. We typically only use the boat on weekends or every other weekend and the talons themselves are turned off on the main power switch. I am thinking the remotes are constantly searching for the talons.
I've had to change them over the winter. That's about it.

I don't know about your particular remote but aren't some of them made to power off ? The remote for my Garmin Force has a power button I can shut it off which would prevent searching.

I got my Talons in the summer of 2014. If my memory is correct I have changed my batteries twice but will more than likely do it again in 2021.
