Very easy to do, get a mounting pedestal like this https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/bass...e-kwik-connect . Then drill out the floor with a hole saw for the center part and screw the pedestal to the deck. They have several different ones to chose from.

I haven't yet, but got it all mapped out for my Tracker 185. Checked all under the front deck while I was re-wiring so I know where everything is and going to get the 6x6 stainless bases and another swivel post like I already use so you can move them around a little if necessary , going to be great addition, I do a LOT of crappie fishing all year long

Hi BF444, Have you done this? I Crappie fish a bunch as well, but am concerned that a plate really should be added underneath to bolt the mounting pedestal to. Any experience with only screwing them into deck and longevity of them not breaking free? Probably will have a few people using it that are 250+ pounds.

    Thanks !

I added (2) extra bases to my 2002 PT185; but I used large fender washers as opposed to a full plate. The original base had furniture nuts under the deck which caused seat base to rock. I replaced with SS nuts & bolts and backing plate made of aluminum.

I added them to my old Tracker that way and never had any problems.
