    Question 2008 150 EFI oil injection removal

    Any one have or know where I can get How to info to remove oil injection from a 2008 Mercury 150 EFI.

    SHOULD be an electronic oil pump, which you do not want to bypass, as the PCM controls the pump and monitors the circuit for short or open circuit conditions.

    "08" = "Original Poster thinks it was built in 2008 (but did not provide required serial number)

    "Down Draft" = "Should be a single-butterfly throttle with the throttle butterfly at the very top of the air handler"

    "Efi" = "Electronic Fuel Injection (when combined with the above items, it would be a 555-based, PCM03 or PCM08 Motorola-type PCM).
