    Torque master gearcase

I know it’s the wrong place but I wanted answers from local guys I’m not gonna haul my boat to Texas for work. Who do you guys trust to work on s torquemaster gearcase? Went out to hook up earlier and noticed gear oil leaking out of the lowest water pickup hole. Pulled the prop and opened the bottom vent hole and a good bit of water came out before oil started showing so I’m praying I just have a bad seal somewhere.

Make sure you don't overfill it with oil. Lots of good info on the Mercury board.

Agreed, Danny at Marine Works will hook you up. If not available Anglers Outpost is a solid choice as well.

Always drain a couple ounces of oil out after it comes out top vent hole. I got frustrated and started looking at manuals and fixed it myself this morning. Turns out it was the driveshaft seal. If I hadn’t had to drive to Lexington to get the new seals and impeller kit I could have done it in an hour. Thanks for the replies
