Ron and I can't seem to get our days off to line up very often so when they do we get pretty excited about a fishing day together. We met at 7am and headed toward Big Creek on Bull Shoals. We put in at the gravel ramp at Noland's Point and started catching fish immediately. I threw about everything in the box but they just kept hitting the Ned Rig. I caught more than a couple dozen shorts but only had a few keepers mixed in. Ron was just the opposite. All he could get bit on was the A-Rig but most were keepers. They hit just often enough that he didn't want to put it down. Ron was fish hungry this time so we brought home a pretty good mess of fish. Our best 5 would have been just under 15 lbs. It was pretty foggy when we launched but the bright sun knocked it off pretty quick. The water temp was 52.4* to start but warmed to near 58* by the end of the day. Air temps were mid 70's.... What a great day in December to be on the water. Hope ya'll are getting to go some too..
