    Finally got out on Sunday

I finally got to hit the river for a couple hours on Sunday! I was getting the Tracker back on the water for the first time since the accident to see how everything was working. The boat test went great! Motor ran good and the hull still leaked a little but not to bad. Now it is time to get her all cleaned up and list her for sale! I also caught a couple nice smallies on what will probably be my last time fishing from her.

I you found them all 200xp! We need some more traffic here on the OH board. It is getting kind of slow!

    Thanks Art & kadas!

Shoot me a PM N2S and we will try to get out this summer.

I got out a week ago yesterday, Thursday the 10th, with a buddy to fish a deep, fairly clear impoundment in central Ohio. Not going to mention which one....

Between us we got a total of 18 bass, along with several representatives of other species. All on blade baits in 12-20 feet of water. High temp for the day was 50, with sun, and surface water temps in the 43 range. Quite a bit of schooling shad present. Our biggest were in the 2.5 to 3 pound range. Nothing huge, but the fish in that cool, relatively clean water sure are pretty. I was certainly glad to catch some fish and enjoy a nice afternoon on the water in mid-December. The weather we have now is not tempting me to go out, especially since where I live the closest “bass” water with a decent ramp is an hour or more away. And winter is really long! The later we can get out, the shorter winter is.

Some real nice smallmouth. Glad you got out and hooked up with some. Spring won't get here fast enough.
