What is your favorite pellet brand and type of wood?

I mostly cook pork, beef and chicken. What is your favorite pellet/brand to use for each? Is there one pellet that you would use for all 3 types of meat?

All I've been using is Camp Chef brand so far. I've used several flavors but think I'm going to just start using the Competition blend from now on. Sometimes I don't remember what flavor I have loaded and I don't really notice too much of a difference. Going to one flavor will make it easier. From the other FB pages and forums I follow for smoking, Pit Boss is another good brand. Whatever brand you're looking at, make sure it is 100% of the wood flavor advertised and that no binders are used. Some will have like a mix, like an Apple flavor will have only 20% apple wood and the rest various other hardwoods.

I have 4 pellet cookers. Lumberjack 100% hickory. Good smoke at low temps and will burn hot when needed. Good luck JD

Lumber Jack, yeah, that's the other name I was trying to think of. One of the best.
