    Aluminum on SHO?

Wondering if anyone can suggest a aluminum prop for a 250 SHO, I have a tourney on red river in March and would feel better banging a aluminum prop into stumps vs killing my shaft with stainless. Any recommendations on size pitch etc ? Running a 21 foot FXR skeeter 2020 250 sho.

    thanks

Red river in Louisiana? If so good luck with an aluminum prop. My guess you’ll need to be towed in

Thinking it will bend up like an old beer can. You ever try running with one bent. Don’t go far from launch idling sucks. I would try to find an old ss for back up. I fish the shallow stuff down here all the time. Stumps don’t hurt my prop. Hauling butt thru them will hurt a lot more. Better know where you can run

There is a reason why the Yamaha SHO props are so darn thick.

I would consider an aluminum prop on a 200 or larger SHO disposable. Kind of like using paper plates for a meal.

The prop I mentioned was made for up to 250HP for a full time prop. I'm pretty sure it will work fine for his purpose.

Would this be a good emergency backup get me home prop for my 23" 3 blade Fury on Ranger Z520L, 250 XP Pro 4 Four stroke? Don't feel like spending $700-800 for a hunk of metal to sit in the boat.

BTW, UPS just delivered my Croxton B&B 23" Fury yesterday.....
