    Trailer step

Anybody add a step to their trailer to make getting into the boat easier? I have a V175 Targa that I’ll be launching by myself a lot. I’d rather not spend $300.00 to accomplish this.

I prefer the trailer tongue steps and IMO Tracker has the best out there. You will have to check with the parts department and they can order it.

I know I am glad I spent the money for my trickstep. Best money I ever spent on the boat.

I have the same step on my PT190 trailer that Bill Reynolds has. Between the purchase price and shipping it's in the $300.00 range but it's worth every penny. You tracker dealer can get it, it's the same one that's used for the Nitro boats.

I made one from three pieces of diamond tread plate.
One sandwiched between the winch and stand, one on top of the tongue and a small one under the tongue to sandwich the tongue without using U bolts. Haven't decided to add a grab bar yet, been about 5 years, but may if I get too unstable to do without.

I added the same Tracker step as Bill Reynolds and Goldstarr on my 2017 PT190. It is great. My trailer was pre-drilled for it so the install was a breeze. The support rod is essential for me making entry and exit very safe.

Actually this is my setup, my steps were custom made and are no longer available. The previous pic I posted was a stock photo showing the Tracker step, which I think is just as good or better and they are commercially available.
Either way, this is one of the best additions I have made to my boat/trailer.
