    Bassmaster Elites July 15-18, Waddington
FLW Pro Tour July 29-August1, Massena
    MLF/BPT - July 25-30, Massena
Northeast division BFL- sept 11-12, Massena
    Toyota Series August 26-28 Massena
Cashion Rod Series - Sept 28, Massena
ABA Opens- July 10, French Creek Marina

Basically it’s looking like it’ll be best to avoid going on weekends from end of Mid July to Mid September... then throw in all of the clubs from NY, NJ, CT, and MA, and PA and that river is going to be a ghost of what it once was just 5 years ago.

Thanks. I just was looking for a cabin for next August/sept and everything is booked up solid. Even into the colder months. Guess I'll wing it when the time comes.

Ya I hear that man. I was hoping to get a couple rooms and fish up there with my dad, and a few cousins but I don’t think that’s going to happen. We try to avoid the crowds as much as possible.

even my club wants to fish out of Keewaydin again but I was the only one to make the drive that morning. Wasn’t bad, just over 2hrs but I know if that lake gets voted on then a lot will bail if they can’t get a room

They’re doing the same to Champlain.....basically every weekend from end of June till 1st week of August there’s a pro tax on Champ. Throw in the local clubs and out of staters, and Champ getting pounded hard.

Ya always wondered about the parking at the intake launch. Looks like there’s only room for about 30-40 trailers and not much anywhere else. Massena has to be paying quite a bit get that many events. Clayton will be a mess with the open, that has even less parking. If they’re up there, then maybe it’ll give the other lakes a chance to breathe a bit

Campgrounds are booked up there, cabins all booked up, hotels I didn't even bother. It will be an endless stream up 81... If I do go up in the fall for a few days, I might just stay in watertown. Nobody talks about the Hudson anymore, might be my destination a lot next year. Gearing up for catfish and stripers!!
I never got to raquette lake this year. Might have to see if I can get a place up there in august. I got pecks lake close by. Cabins up there. Cost a lot though.
If Champlain gets any water back in it, I might make a trip early may.
Then of course I got otsego lake with Nazi parking rules, Canadarago with So So fishing and 300 pontoon boats. Mohawk is just boring... Probably shouldn't have bought a boat last year....

Had a great time at cabin last labor day at kring point. They opened up booking and everything was full instantly. Even thru oct. Fishing was lackluster. Making no plans for up there this summer at all. Fall trip hopefully but I'm gonna stay in watertown.

Your best best at that time is Black Lake. Lots of places to stay. The only bad weekend would be Sept 20th, big tournament. Other than that, you can fish Black if you like. Ogdensburg/ St Lawrence is 15 minutes away, Chipawa Bay/ SL 10 minutes, Alex Bay 20 minutes, Clayton 30. Sunnside at Black Lake has it own launch as well so you can pull for the day at any time.

Yeah I realize that, right now we can't really plan ahead. She's starting a new job next week, not sure about when or if she can take vacation. If we do anything it will be last minute. pecks lake maybe. Right now I'm focused on the Hudson in may. Took time off in Sept for a trip up north. Might do the same mid oct.

Always wanted to fish Pecks but my job boat is 12’ and they have a 14’ minimum. Otherwise it would be like $100 a day for two people to fish out of a rental boat

My boat is pecks lake worthy. We rented cabins up there when I was a kid. Figure the lake may be a nice way to beat the crowds. Of course it will be pricey. Nothing is free at pecks lake.
